i've been loosing alot of hair these days and i'm thinking maybe it has to do with my detangling technique.
i've always done it from root to tip. Fo rme this is the only way to get all the knots and tangles out.
but i've read that more than a few ladies do it the other way around : from tip to root and i'm like
.
I tried it and it felt like i've done nothing to my hair, or maybe i'm missing something.
do you just slide the comb for top to bottom? when i tried that the knots were still their.
Anyways this might sound like a stupid question but what it your detangling technique and has it had any affect on the condition of your hair?

Also, I detangle under the running water of the shower, while rinsing after deep conditioning for 30 minutes or so. The force of the water helps to detangle while combing from the end to the root. I prefer using a wide tooth Jilbere show comb to detangle (and for all of my combing).
moment when I was doing my Curlformers set. I was trying 2 figure out how 2 cut down on the time it was taking me 2 do an entire set (90 mins).
But... since it was very small sections at a time, I lost less hair than when I do it w/the KCutter 1st.
