When I detangle my hair with a shower comb or denman, it doesn't "recover" for days. It stays frizzy and the curlies arent there. It's just kinda blah.

I don't remember my exact process, but its a variation of wash, slap on a boatload of conditioner, detangle, deep condition, moisturize, seal. Sometimes I don't wash and I don't know if I always DC after. Alllllls I know is that it usually takes 2 or 3 days for it to go back to looking decent. Or I have to shampoo it a million times.

I don't know what the problem is. Any suggestions?

TIA!

Hmm, I don't really have any suggestions. My hair wants to clump up naturally and then form locs, so I detangle to make sure that doesn't happen. Of course, that disturbs the coils. But I don't mind it, so I've never tried to change it.

Thank you for pointing me to the other thread. I don't mind the back frizzin up, but the front...kills me!
