Hello, I'm looking for a detangling conditioner that can glide through tangles and has a lot of slip. I detangle in the shower. Any advice is appreciated. I'm relaxed and transitioning to natural .
A cheapie conditioner (VO5 Strawberries and Cream, Aussie Moist, Cream of Nature) seem to do the trick. I personally mix my conditioner with a little bit oil for slip.
I second what @keranikki said. I don't spend much on detangling conditioners. They're on my head for 2-3 minutes and immediately rinsed out. I spend more on my leave-in conditioners because those actually stay on my hair for 24 hours before the next wash. I use Suave and add EVOO for detangling.
Thank you so much ladies!!!!! I ended up purchasing the Herbal Essence Hello Hydration. After shampooing, should I use the cheap conditioner to detangle in shower then deep condition? Or do I deep condition first and follow up with the cheap conditioner to detangle.

I use the rinse out after deep conditioning. Use and detangle after so you aren’t overmanipulating the hair and the hair is already detangled when you are done!
In no particular order - I've been using:
Vanhart Creme Rinse (forget who originally mentioned this cheapie - but it's great)
Hairveda R/O's
SSI's R/O's
CRN's Moroccan Pear & Argan
Curl Junkie Argan & Olive
P.aul Mi.tchell's Detangling Conditioner
I love Trader Joes Conditioners or Giovanni Conditioners. I find the brands work very similarly in my hair. They're both hae thick, froathy textures and glide easily through the strands. I tend to prefer Giovanni because I can get a lot more product for not very much at all.
