Hey, I use Biosilk Silk Therapy. Although it doesnt call itself a detangler, it works amazing as one. I havent had a relaxer in 4 months and i usually cant go past 2 months, and Silk Therapy allows me to comb thru my wet hair as if i just had a relaxer. You should try it! I think u will be pleased!

I like Paul Mitchell the detangler. I slather it on in the shower, and use a wide tooth comb, and I am able to work through my very kinky hair, no problem.

A good detangler is Hair Insurance by Aussie. This stuff is awesome. It is a leave in conditioner, however, it detangles my hair very well. I keep at least three bottles at time in my house. I'm one of those people who thinks the company will discontinue the product. It is the PJ in me I guess.

I made my own leave ins and they detangle very well.

I have a watery leave-in made with mostly distilled water, a small amount of conditioner and a small amount of olive oil. this detangles my hair very well until the 7th week post relaxer.

after the 7th week, i definitely need a creamy detangler. Motowngrl's recipe for a leave-in conditioner makes a good detangler. sometimes Instead of leaving it in, i comb my hair with a wide toothed comb while rinsing this out in the shower

I agree, Hair Insurance is a GREAT detangler.

I second the Pantene Thank you Jesus for that poster who posted the pic of it. I would be bald if I didn't have it. I was stretching out my relaxer and made the mistake of going to sleep with my hair loose and my hair got matted to my head and I couldn't get it unmatted even after my perm I called myself perming it to loosen up the tangles but it didn't work it took me six hours to get it untangled with the pantene nothing else worked prior to the pantene. Again Thanks! to that poster who posted that pic of it. It definitely saved my hair.

Paul Mitchell's The Detangler has worked wonders for me... I had been searching for a long time too and nothing that usually worked for me was working... I have to use a lot of it though which is the down side, but my hair is extremely hard to detangle...

The best I've used is Biolage Daily Leave-In Tonic. I also have Biolage Detangling Solution, but prefer the leave-in.
