Design Essentials Moisture Retention Shampoo-

Is really moisturizing and (sad to say) I can't WAIT to try it some day...
after I use up my fave shampoo to date, Aveda Damage Remedy and my Diva Curl no poo and my other co-washes  No product Junkie here

This shampoo is very creamy and smells really good. It laters well which means, yes it does contain SLS BUT it doesn't seem to dry out the hair. Hmmm....

I'm telling you, try it out if you can and please let me know what you think.

HHG!

I don't know the whole line but b/c we us it in beauty school, I SEE what it does. This shampoo I'm pretty pleased with and in fact, I used it on a client of mine for the first time and her hair came out differently, it hung differently. She's transitioning.
I just went on line to see what others have said, it apparently this 'poo has some weight to it and some folks only use a little bit. So, if you want more weight or heavy prods. on the hair, I'd give this a shot...

The DC Stimulations, is really stimulating...I think it has either peppermint or tea tree or some type of tingly oil in it so for folks who have JUST gotten a relaxer, this MIGHT be TOO stimulating. Otherwise it's OK. I used it to DC my edges (yes, you heard correctly) when I was in a weave and einh, my edges were dry within a couple of days. Then again, maybe it's not realistic to expect the edges of my hair which are exposed to the elements to actually stay moist for days on end by merely using a DC. *shrug*

WATER, MINERAL OIL, GLYCERIN, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, POLYQUATERNIUM 32/MINERAL OIL, QUATERNIUM 80, DIMETHICONE, JOJOBA OIL, ALOE VERA OIL, PEPPERMINT OIL, MENTHOL, PANTHENOL, HYDROLYZED WHEAT PROTEIN, FRAGRANCE, CITRIC ACID, SILK AMINO ACIDS, DMDH HYDANTOIN, TETRASODIUM EDTA, METHYLPARABEN, PROPYLPARABEN, DIAZOLIDINYL UREA

Those are the ingredients for the DC. It's filled with mostly minderal oil but other than that looks good

Try googling it to see where you can find it. I thought I saw Curlmart somewhere online...

It could have been filled with horse manure, that ish does some wonders guuuuuuurl!
If your someone who doesn't care about 'bad' ingredients...I say go for it!
Your hair will soften upon contact....

I was looking at this today..Did it provide slip? They have another one I was looking at/dont know the name..But,this line looks interesting..

Happy Hair Growing!

My salon uses it and I purchased some once and liked it okay but didn't love it enough for it be a staple.

I would like to try the Moisture Conditioner....Any-one with reviews?

Happy Hair Growing!

I went to get a facial and they had this at the spa (which is also a salon). I had it in my hand, about to purchase it but I wanted to look for reviews first.

This is one of my staples and my salon uses the entire Design Essentials line. The shampoo is great for my hair, slippery, and moisturizing. I also use the DE Organic Oatmeal Clarifying shampoo if I have lots of product build-up.

I DC and steam with Stimulations Conditioner and I love it too. It is thick, not really slippery, but I am still able to detangle my hair with it.

We use this line at my beauty school as well. The shampoo contains ALS (the harshest sulfate) but leaves the hair feeling very moisturized and soft like old school CON but the DE rinses cleaner.

The stimulations conditioner provides a very moist feel to the hair and closes the cuticle, resulting in lots of shine. Its not a detangling conditioner so if your hair is prone to tangles I would not recommend this unless your leave in does the detangling legwork for you.

Their express conditioner is much better IMO and detangles well too.

The jury is still out on their HCO leave in, after 8-10 sprays the hair can have a slight tackiness to it.

I get very consistent results from using this line and know this is the go-to line at most ethnic salons. My clients leave with weightless, shiny, moist hair every time when i use this and rollerset or flat iron afterwards.

They also have a natural line wit a shampoo thats sulfate free, it works well but does not clean as well as their regular shampoo. I havent used their natural conditioner yet, but will post a review on it when i do.

DCing with Stimulations now. Don't know what I'll do when it runs out!
Ill probably repurchase once I use up all my other DCs.
