I'll try and do this for you when I get home today. If you check out their site they may list some of the core ingredients as well. :)

Thanks RootDeep :) I've checked out the site and saw some core ingredients, but I want to know about those "other" ones like petroleum and mineral oil. The products sounds oooooo promising, but I don't want to purchase a package and find out that the products are loaded with mineral oil/petroleum.

Their masterpiece setting lotion sounds great, but it's not available online :(

Okay here are the products that I have and can actually still read the back of and post for you. ;)

And I just got off the phone with them and asked them to email me the ingredients to the other products for you. :lachen: LOL!
Nutriment RX Headdress

Herbal Complex 4 (this is one that I have been using at home for a month my stylist oiled my hair with this when I would have her cornrow my hair for my falls back in the winter)
Petrolatum, Isopropyl Myristate, Myristyl Myristate, Peg-40 Sorbitan Peroleate, Paraffin, Mineral Oil, Lanolin, Fragrance, Methlyparaben, Propylparaben, Benzoic Acid, Mink Oil, Squalene, Tocopheryl Acetate, Jojoba Oil, BHA, Horsetail, Black Indian Hemp, Nettle, Rosemary, Burdock, Birch Bark, Rosehips, Carrageenan Coltsfoot, Dandelion, Curled Dock, Sambuscas, Wild Cherry Bark, Coneflower, Ginseng, D&C Yellow #11 D&C Rec # 17.

If my fresh bottle of conditioner comes in today I can give you the ingredients to that as well :)

awwww, thanks Root Deep. That's funny because I just got off the phone with them too! I was transferred to someone named "Shalonda" but she wasn't at her desk, so I just left a message.

I see that their products do contain Mineral Oil and Petroleum. Not to sound too picky, but I just know that my hair doesn't work well with those ingredients.

I'm still curious about that setting lotion though. It contains Jojoba Oil, wheat protein, etc.

ME too!! Then it was YOU who called right before me. When they transferred her to me she was like "didnt you just call?" LOL!!
I even went on to tell her about the forum! LOL! She called me back and told me she was going to see if she can email me the ingredients. We shall see.
And you arent picky at all. We have to find out what works for us and stick to it.
BTW: I just commented in your fotki ...your bun is TOO CUTE! What did you use on your hair?

lol, that's too funny .

Thanks for the compliment! For my bun, I just used a regular black sock (nylon, I think...I'm not sure).

ETA: I don't remember what I used at that time to hold my hair down, but now I use Oyin's Shine & Define, and that works to smooth my hair out just fine. For my edges, I'd use some QB Alma & Olive Heavy Cream (I need to thicken up my hairline) and Fantasia IC Gel for Color Treated Hair (the blue one). I really need to update my product pics in my fotki; I keep changing. Before I head back to Nashville in a couple weeks, I'm gonna redo those pics and have a definite list of what products I'm actually using.

Thanks Dynamics. Do you know if their shampoos have sulfates in them? I know my hair doesn't like that. Thanks!!

TSU...if you get these, you must give a review. I have been eyeing this product since Cincysweetie told me she use and really love them.

Curly DST,

I know the Moisture Retention Shampoo does not list a "sulfate" that I can readily recognize, like Ammonium or sodium laureth sulfate. My hair hates products containing these 2 unless they are way down on the ingredients list. The moisture retention shampoo is one of the only poos I use that does not leave my hair one big tangled matted mess. If I have to use a medicated poo (nizoral), I follow with Moisture Retention. This seems to work better than just following with conditioner. My stylist taught me this one many years ago, when I brought my Nizoral to the Salon. I like the Organic Cleanse as well, but I believe it does have sulfates. But sometimes I need to get rid of build up and sulfates seem like a necessary evil. Organic Cleanse, is still better than a lot of sulfate poos I've used in the past.

I'm seriously contemplating on purchasing one of the packages from the site. The 2 packages that I'm really looking into are the:

Shedding Package $41.71
Long Strands Package $46.93

I like the look of those 2 packages because of the products in them...not the names of the packages. I don't have long strands, and my hair isn't shedding, but the products in those packages are ones that I'd most likely use.

Shedding Package: Organic Cleanse Deep Cleansing Shampoo, Moisture Retention Conditioning Shampoo, Stimulations Super Moisturizing Conditioner, Therapeutics Rx Leave-In Conditioner, Botanical Oils Hair & Body Moisturizer with Ginseng

Long Strands Package: Organic Cleanse Deep Cleansing Shampoo, Moisture Retention Conditioning Shampoo, Therapeutics Rx Leave-In ConditionerStimulations Super Moisturizing Conditioner, Botanical Oils Hair & Body Moisturizer with Ginseng, HCO Leave-In Conditioner

I just ordered from Sheldeez.com instead of the Design Essentials website.

I ordered the Moisture Retention Shampoo, Stimulations Conditioner, Theraputics Rx Leave-in, and the Masterpiece setting lotion for a bit over $35.

I certainly hope that sheldeez is a responsible vendor...I've heard a couple not-so-good responses about them. The only reason why I went ahead and ordered from them was because they had the Setting Lotion...no other site had it.
