I was just looking at your snapfish pictures and I am blown away. I have seen a picture of your hair before, but I thought to myself she's probably always had long hair. I have been searching for someone with my hair texture that had shorter hair as a child and has received extrodinary hair growth and you fit the bill EXACTLY!

I saw your younger pictures and thought wow, she had short hair as a child, too. So now you MUST tell me all your hair secrets

Patiently waiting!

Hello, ms_kenesha,
Yes, its true I had short hair as a child, I really don't have any special secrets. Last, year in July I started out with past shoulder length hair. I had begun researching about black hair care after being inspired by HF37 testimonials. I looked into what vitamins and minerals, were needed to achieve healthy and fast growth. I began with Amino Acids and B-vitamins which increased my growth to 1 inch per month, I moisturised my hair with Wildgrowth hair oil and kept my hair braided from 4-6 weeks. At this time I still wasn't educated enough on how to care for my hair, I failed to frequently wash and deep condition my hair, however I achieved some good results, but It didnt necessarily put a stop to the abnormal breakage I was still receiving. I decided to experiment and looked into other hair vitamin supplements and hair care sites this is, when i achieved the most growth of up to 2 inches in a month, however not on a consistent basis. Then, I came across growafrohairlong, which taught me how to take care of my hair, many thanks to my friend Robin Woods and all you ladies on LHCF

Yes Denise's regime is great! It's such an inspiration to see her reach her goal of waist length.

Shrinkage is a bumer but still her hair shows such health and fullness.

Your hair is beautiful Denise! I am inspired.I hope to reach to waist length some day. I noticed that your hair has this beutiful pitch black color that i want myself. Do you dye it, if so what product do you use, and how often do touch up?.

Thanks!

I also was a earlobe length child, education is a great thing. Another thing, you have destroyed that myth, that if you had short hair as a child, it is impossible to get it to tailbone length. Once again, congratulations again on your great achievement.

Hello Ire_manzi, thanks for the compliments, I don't use hair dye, the colour of my hair, is due to a chinese herb, called Fo-ti, which I take in capsule form. It helps to darken and enrich natural hair colour, and reduces the amount of hair shedding thus increasing the growing phase of the follicles. Give it try, I'm sure you won't be disappointed
