Has anyone tried this and if so what were their results ....
Im really stuck on what to do with this head of hair at the moment and Im wondering if this is a option for me

Thanks

I haven't personally gotten this done but the woman (Lynda)that used to do my hair has gotten the perm and started putting it on some of her clients' hair. Lynda had the kinkiest hair that I had ever seen before in my life. She would start pressing it and by the time she finished it would have already started to curl back up. So in addition to having this extremely kinky hair she had breast cancer went through numerous surgeries and is now required to take medication for the next 5 years which is causing causing her hair to become even more dry and kinky. Lynda went to a hair show and explained the situation to a technician there and he decided to use her as a hair model to prove just how good the demi perm was. Well, her hair came out looking like a fresh bouncy perm. It actually lasted for 3 weeks with her exercising everyday, doing hair in a hot salon, and in the hot and humid Mississippi weather. According to her it would have lasted longer but she wanted to clean her scalp. Apparently her hair looked so good until many of her clients that had permanents have started transitioning to natural hair so that they can press and curl. You can actually call ORS and they will tell you of salons in your area that do the demi perm. At one point I had searched some one out in my area to do one, but I am about to texturize Otherwise that is the route that I would be going myself

Not damaging to the hair at all. As a matter of fact when I contacted a distributor in my area she had 9 women when it first came out who consistently were having it done every 2-3 weeks. This one woman was on a fixed income and could not come as consistently as she had in the past and she started doing her hair at home. She said that the woman had told her that she was able to wash her hair and smooth it back and where she had previously had naps she now has kinks. The beautician was telling me that of course she will have to come back because that is not her natural texture but just the products making her hair easy to manage.

The demi perm has pineapple enzymes that soften the hair bonds (temporarily) which is why the persons using it ended up having such manageable hair.

So its not at all like a texturizer and there are no need for touch ups ..The nearest one ot meis in Birmingham
