Deep conditioners

Ladies, I am trying to find a deep moisturizing conditioner. I love Joico, but uh... that's getting a tad bit expensive. Do any of you know of any really good moisturzing DCs that are inexpensive but that I can get a lot of? I don't want to have to keep buying more so often. I want a big gallon or jug or tub of something that is worth my money and does its job! :yep::grin:

If there is a thread or link to help me, please post it. I would greatly appreciate it.

thanks!

One of the cheap ones that actually works, atleast for me, is the Queen Helene Cholesterol. You can find it in big tubs. Giovanni smooth as silk is a great conditioner that works well for me as a quick rinse and as a deep conditioner. You can find that for around 35bucks a gallon at the massagewarehouse.com, I think that is the site. There was a thread posted about it.

Also check out some of the liters of conditioner at places like Ulta and Trade Secret. They have lots of sales like BOGO on a regular basis.

Thanks, gym. I will check out those places/sites. Yeah, DH will be happy  more places for me to "shop" for hair stuff! :lachen:

Right now I'm using Paul Mitchell Super Charged Moisturizing Conditioner
and Giovanni Smooth as Silk. I use the whole Joico MR line and it's great but I felt like I needed less protein so I'll switch up using moisturizing products and joico.

I agree that Kenra MC is another one but it works for many and not for some.

ORS Replenish has the tall bottle for about $13 at the BSS. I know it contains a little protein, but it does nothing but moisturize my hair. :yep:

Agree w/ GF, try to catch the sales at Ulta/Trade Secret/Jc Penney. Sign up for their emails so you'll know when the sales are coming. I got a $30 bottle of Kenra MC for $18 the other day. :yep: :D And another liter sized conditioner for $10.

I recommend Motions Moisture Plus Conditioner. It's very cheap (about $8 for a 30 oz. tub) and can be found at just about any BSS, Walmart or Target. It smells good too!

WARNING: It does contain 'cones, though, which is something to consider. 'Cones don't bother me... I just clarify more often, and I'm good!

I don't know if you're anti mineral oil or not, but if you aren't, Silicon Mix and D'Fina 11 en 1 both have 56-60oz jars for about $20. I saw Giovanni Smooth As Silk 33oz bottles @ TJ Maxx for $12.99 yesterday. Like other have mentioned, Queen Helene Cholesterol is cheap and gets the job done, and you can buy it in a big pump bottle. Whenever I need good moisturizing DCs on the cheap, I always turn to my Dominican products. You can find many w/o the mineral oil as well.

I was gonna suggest that, I got the biggest bottle and it lasts a long time.

My Motions Moisture Plus costs me $19.50 for an 80 ounce tub. It works fine with olive oil, but it works better--just as good as Verifen Complex Advance Conditioning Treatment--when I "doctor it up" with oils, butters, glycerin, other conditioners, detanglers, etc. :lick: I didn't even want to go to the salon for my appointment.:nono: That's just how good my hair looked and felt.

I use (and :love3:) Elasta QP Intense Fortifying Conditioner - it's fabulously moist, and I get a liter for 11 bucks.

I might fall out if I ever saw it in the gallon size.

Concerning the bolded: Oooh, really? I may add a little oil to mine, next time I DC. Thanks for the tip!
