deep conditioner and leave in?

In 2009 I am determined to get the DC on a regular. I've tossing around some ideas and I wanted to get some feedback.

I'm using AO HSR for DC as well as a leave in for wet bunning and twists.
I sat today for 30 mins under heat after doing a co wash and AC rinse.

Here is what i'm wondering....

do you have to rinse out the DC? If i'm using the same product for my leave in, is it possible to just twist or bun after the heat without
rinsing?

I LOVE the AO but I can see that DCing AND twists/bun leave in would go through it pretty quick.

any thoughts?

Good question. I sometimes leave a bit of conditioner in but that's with a lighter conditioner I co-wash with, not a DC. I think it could be ok since AO HSR can be used as a rinse out too.

I would rinse lightly so that you leave a small amount in the hair.

I would rinse most of it out, cause of build up-then add in a leave in.

Rinse most of it out, just leave a litrle bit in there as your leave-in

I do this with my AO HSR... I co wash with it and use it as a leave in. I did this like 15 mins ago.

Surprisingly a bottle of AO HSR can last me quite a while even though I use it all the time.

Where do you buy yours from?

I feel like i should wash it out or at least some of it, but when i do twists I use more than i do for the DC.

my health food store has it for $10.35 but i just found that vitacost has it for around $7.
