IDareT'sHair chile....that shampoo is sooooo STRIPPING! And I used the moisture booting one, not the clarifying one that she also offers.

I had my hair so coated with vatika oil that you could smell it wafting from beneath the beenie. But yet, one little tups(as jamaicans would say) - like penny sized amount , once it touched my strands you could FEEL them start to tangle. Immediately...IMMEDIATELY.

My strands were squeaky clean when I was done...literally. You could hear the squeak as I ran my fingers through my hair.

conditioned my hair with Giovanni (in the green bottle) then put Curl Junkie repair me over that.
Washed my hair with Trader Joes Tea tree and a cleansing conditioner. Then deep conditioned overnight with CJ repair me and Miss Jessie recovery mask.

This morning washed it all out rinsed with acv/tea tree and some water. Use Darcy's Pumpkin leave in, it's a 10 and she moisture leave in and am currently air drying. Will blow out the remaining dampness when I get home.

I just decided what I want to do with my hair for the week which will be two cornrows with a textured bang (from as two strand twist)

Used KB moisture mist as a leave in
Rollerset
Had the roots blow out
Doobie wrap.. I'm still in my pins, will take my wrap down Christmas day.

Re DCing tonight on dry hair with Optimum DC mixed with EVOCO, EVOO, and glycerine. I also had to go over that with some crece Pelo DC because the one pack of optimum wasn't enough to completely cover my hair. Going to sit under my heating cap for 30-45 mins and rinse in the am. I dc'd yesterday but my hair still felt a little dry today

Thanks Lady! I have about 70 twists done and my "plan" is to wear them for 1 1/2 to two weeks. Then rock a twist-out for a few days.

I just shampooed my hair with Giovanni Deep Moisture Shampoo and I'm in the middle of dc'ing my hair with Jessicurl Deep Conditioning Treatment. After I was it out, I'll moisturize, seal, and plait my hair for today and tomorrow. I'll take them out Tuesday.
