When I first came to LHCF I got some Nourish & Shine on a "swap" I had a "reaction" to the scent and broke out.

I cannot stand the way it smells.

I like the curl cream. I don't like the scent at all. It worked great but I seemed to get scalp irritation after a while so I stopped using it. I also like the smoothing lotion, but I don't think it's on sale.

I purchased some items from her during the BF sale and was only able to sample one product since that time, which is the Conditioning & Cleansing Cowash. This product is very thick, creamy and highly emollient to the extent that it felt as if I was applying a really good DC. The slip it provided was insane; I was able to easily detangle my hair within minutes. To be clear, the most moisturizing, best detangling cleansers/cowashes I've encountered are SSI Blueberry/Pumpkin and Eden, and this product is on par with both of those. My hair rinsed noticeably clean and soft. It did not strip my hair at all, which is exactly what I look for in a cleanser. I was very pleased by this product, to say the least. Plus,since it's $11 for 16oz, it's quite cost effective. I also bought the Grow Great Hair Spritz to use as a liquid refresher, but the smell of it was ridiculously noxious. No hair product has any business being that offensive.

I tried Jane Carter but for me there is no current standout product The nourish and shine is their flagship product. My hair is fine and I prefer castor oil products for shine.
