FINALLY I updated, huh? My dad let me borrow his camera..but I should be able to get a camera for christmas this year!!!
I just relaxed yesterday but I also curled my hair with a curling iron because i needed to for my cheerleading competition. The curls have relaxed a bit since yesterday because I put it in a bun overnight.

My hair has gotten so much healthier!!!
What I think has contributed:
1. Henna and Indigo (notice my black color)
2. Deep conditioning Twice weekly
3. Relaxing with ORS No-Lye
4. Cutting off like 2 inches of thinness

comments, suggestions, etc pleaseeeee

* Relax every 10+ weeks with ORS No-Lye;
* Wash weekly with Shampoo. Clarify every month or so using dilulted Nexxus Aloe Rid shampoo.
* Deep condition twice a week with a moisturizing shampoo. Aphogee 2 min Keratin/Nexxus Keraphix once a month after clarifying.
* Henna every 4-6 weeks. I do either a two step henna and indigo or a one step hendigo.
* Flatiron twice a year(every 6 months) for trims or special occasions. I've flatironed this year so far twice, in March08, and September08
* Moisturize twice a day with GVP Potion 9, then Redken Butter Treat then seal with Avocado Oil. I don't like using Coconut Oil on my hair for some reason anymore :(
* I trim my hair a lot because i have a lot of damaged ends from when i used to go to a stylist..but this doesn't have adverse affects on my hair growth because my hair grows faster than usual.

Comments: Your hair is so beautiful- thick and long!!

Suggestions: Keep doing whatever is on your reggie because it is working so very well for you!!

I get sooooo discouraged when I see pics of such great progress!
I've been at this for 2 years and I don't believe I have this much progress. However, I must admit that I haven't blown my hair to really SEE it. I just bun, twist, braid etc....maybe it's time to blow it out...maybe during the summer of 2009. But I swear when I wash and twist my hair doesn't look THIS long!!!!!

Congrats!!!
