I've been lurking for a good long while now and wanted to come in and say HELLO! (I tried to post yesterday, so if it's here somewhere, I'm sorry )

I've decided to go natural and I'm goin to do the BC on New Year's Eve.
I haven't gotten the warmest responses when I tell my family/friends that I'm cutting all my hair off. It's like "good luck with that erplexed " "I gotta see this " WTF. The people at my job, on the other hand, are like YOU'RE GONNA FRO IT OUT?? THATS SO COOL" Who woulda thunk it!

So that's my story. You ladies inspire me!

Welcome. Just remember that you have to transition mentally as well with natural hair or it won't last.

I think I transitioned a little to much, now I feel so uncomfortable with straight hair and only washing once a week.

I've been thinking about it for sooo long. I'm super excited, nobody can take that away. I can't wait! I found a pic of me when I was about 3 or 4 with this fro and it's the cutest thing. I can't wait to go back to that.
