DC Ladies??? Help my sister find a salon......

She doesn't have a car and she needs a salon in Northwest or Northeast. She wants a relaxer and a trim. She doesn't want anything to break the bank but not ghetto either. She has thick 4b that needs some TLC.

I don't know of any shops in Northwest or Northeast that won't break the bank. I am sure one of the ladies will be able to help you out.

I always go to Destiny at Upscales salon for my touch-ups and trims. She's very careful about not overlapping, and she never trims too much off. She's also the person that advised me to stretch out my relaxers!

She's there on Mondays too, and a relaxer and trim should be about $60 (which is a very good price for DC) The salon's address is 1915 7th Street NW (its abot a block up from the Shaw-Howard Metro). The phone number is 202-465-1425

One time it cost her $125 and the guy didn't get her hair staight. It has been hard for her to find a salon. Not like Philly.

I used to go to Jack and Company hair salon on Rhode Island Avenue in N.W. DC. The only reason I stopped going there is because I moved to Bowie and it was too far to travel. The woman who did my hair is Vanessa and she's really good. I don't have the phone number but it should be in the Yellow Pages.

Salon 3710 is in the ghetto. But, David is an excellent stylist and he will not break the bank. He is at 3710 14th Street, NW. He does hair for some of the ladies at BET and Pat Lawson-Muse. My girlfrieds have been going to him for over 10 years. My mom went to him also before she moved.
