PRAY
Mighty Lord, I praise You as a God who keeps his promises. You are always faithful to Your Word.
Gen. 15:5
He took him outside and said, "Look up at the heavens and count the stars—if indeed you can count them." Then he said to him, "So shall your offspring be."
Then he took him outside and said, "Look at the sky. Count the stars. Can you do it? Count your descendants! You're going to have a big family, Abram!"
Abraham had been told he would have as many descendants as stars in the sky. I don't know how many stars you can see, but 2 million is a lot! One of God's promises is fulfilled!
It's hard sometimes when we don't see the answers to our prayers, even though the answer is coming.
APPLY
What promises has God made you? What difference would it make if you started living as if they were going to come true?

Lord, help me always to trust Your promises to me and to live that way, too.
