Hello Ladies:

I been a member of long hair care forum since December, but I started my better hair care in October. Thanks to LHCF I am closer to my dream than ever before. Today, I was supposed to get a perm by my mother, but we got in an argument. Long story short, I did my perm myself...BIG Mistake. After a 17 weeks stretch, me perming my hair for the 1st time since my quest started was the biggest mistake I ever made. My mom felt sorry for me after the damage was done. It is under processed and dull. I lost alot of hair during this stretch. This was my first time stretching for this long, but it is not the last. I am happy to say this was the 1st major mistake I ever made this year to my hair. I would say I have about 3 months set back, that's not bad when I look at it, because it could have been worse. However, the great new is I still saw progress. My hair (thank God) is thick. Enjoy!!!

Thank You ladies.

This is what I do:
-no heat
-co wash 2-4 times a week/ shampoo wash once a week and deep condition
-wear it out for the first couple weeks after the perm, then after that protective styles for about a month or so. Then it's time for braids for another month or 2 months.
Then perm, Then do it again.
I missed up this time though, I permed on my own. I am challenged when it comes to perming.
