I follow the curly girl routine. Well I'm 4b so I can't really follow the routine, but I have adopted the no shampoo regime in my life. I use salon selective serious recovery to daily rinse my hair. On the back of the bottle it says that if you hair is really dry that you should use it 5-7 times per week. I light it cuz it really light. After I finish my rinse I apply Shea Butter to ends/hair. I am thinking about using L'Oreal Fresh Vive Shampoo for when I have to clarify my hair to get rid of build every month.
I follow a modified CG routine....shampooing approx once per month. I use White Rain as my conditioner to "wash".
I'm a several times per week rinser. I then let air dry or use Elucence Moisture Balancing as a leave in, then air dry. On other days, I spritz with glycerin/water/Elucence in a spray bottle and go.
I also shampoo (once a month) with "shampoo", but I Condition wash my hair morning (I use anything affordable...Sauve, Pantene whatever) I always leave a little conditioner in and then I comb (while in shower) and style (usually a braid or a bun).
I used to use conditioner with all my condition rinses 7 days a week, but lately, I've started just rinsing my hair with water and my scalp with apple cider vinegar/mixed with water. I use creme of nature shampoo once a week. My hair seems more managable (less tangles and knots) at 10 weeks post relaxer then it did last time. After getting out of the shower, I apply a leave in, glycerin, and healthy ends by PRofectiv or Mango butter on my ends. I heavily coat my ends. I also braid my hair in 2-4 braids every night, and pin them up for the night.
My routine is shampoo 3(2 of them are conditioner shampoos) times a week with either Elucence or Jason's Sea Kelp and do my conditioning shampoos with Elucence Moisture Balancing. I do just rinses in between( on something newI discovered this week...mist my hair until wet). I use only distilled water no matter what I'm doing.
I don't towel dry and do a acv rinse once a week.
I do my hair at night because it takes a long time to dry. In the morning is it usually still damp...but I don't mind. If I'm wearing it out then I let it dry some more.
I use a leave in mixture of Pantene Pro-V Smooth and Sleek mixed with Paul Mitchell Supercharged( you can use them seperately...but I think they are much better together) and an oil(mine is my shea/oil butter melted down - 1 teaspoon)..I use 1 tablesspoon each of the conditioners. I then part my hair and comb it back behind my ears and either let it dry that way or form the hair into 4 to 5 fats finger coils or twists. I tie the hairline and top half of hair down with a triangular hair net. I do this whenever I don't rollerset. I've been doing this over a year...Everytime I try different routine and products...I come back to this. It sounds like a lot..but it actually isn't and I get the results I want. My hair is not dry and it's growing.
I rinse daily with Jason Biotin conditioner, follow up with Paul Mitchell Cream leave in conditioner and I spray glycerin/water mix throughout the day. Glycerin is used as a moisturizer. I deep condition once a week with AO GPB & the Island rinse. Once a month I do a hot oil treatment w/castor, olive, rosemary an ylang ylang oil. I just bought some coconut oil today I have it on now. I might do this weekly.
What is your formula (ie ratio) for the mix of glycerin/water/elucence?

6-8 oz water
2 tablespoons glycerin
1 tablespoon Elucence

Glycerin is a humectant, which means it can draw moisture to your hair. However, too much can take moisture FROM your hair. I used to use s-curl a couple of years ago, but decided to make my own spray. I got my glycerin online at www.fromnaturewithlove.com, but they sell it in drugstores and nature food stores, like Whole Foods.
Morning: rinse while in shower, towel dry, oil scalp with castor oil, WGO and coat hair with ORS Carrot oil. Brush five time put in ponytail using pantyhose bands. Then I put on vaseline and baggie, then just the toe of the pantyhose and a scrunchie.
Evening: Take hair down, spray with S-curl, put on plastic bag cap.
Every third day I use a little Creme of Nature Shampoo while in shower, then do the Morning method.
On Friday, I rinse, shampoo once, and then condition with Motions CPR and ORS Hair Mayonnaise. I put on a cap and sleep in this. Usually keep it on all day Saturday.
Result: The nape of my neck is about 4-5 inches long. The rest of my hair is about just a little past my shoulders. I started doing this a couple of months ago.
Ok, I thought you were saying you couldn't do a condition wash. I don't gel and scrunch like the books says either. I like to condition wash though. Love that!
If so, hows that been working out? -I've tried but my hair is like a sponge and it stays permanently wet... hate the hair dryers!

I do mine at night so it has a chance to dry most of the way...overnight. In the morning is is still damp but dries in a couple more hours at the office. I usually wear it back. If I want to wear it out then the evening before I do coils and sit under the dryer for 20 minutes to give it a head start on drying. It's usually dry by the morning(8 hours) I'm sitting under the hair dryer at the moment because I am wearing my hair straight tommorrow. I roller set it earlier and let it air dry for 2 hours before getting under the dryer(I hate sitting under them too long).
I rinse almost daily. I have a very hectic schedule sometimes, so this works for me. I just think of it as providing a moist growth climate. I do not comb out until the second or third day rinse depending on my styling intent. Anyway, it's essential oil and oils combo overnight or at least for several hours, then precondition with mayo, yogurt, eggs and bsmolasses occasionally, or some other homemade hair masque. Then rinse well and section and make knots or wrap in a variety of ways. I am just aiming for health and length. Hope this helps. Bonjour.
sorry forgot to mention that I am totally (not transitioning)natural, past bra strap length back and armpit length sides, and shoulderlength bangs. My goal is to get it all to one length, below bra strap and grow as long as it is able. I believe that the moisture eliminates many worries about dryness, tangling and frizz. 3b curly, using no heat or heated tools for styling. Rarely brush. Shampoo 1x wk. All natural products. Bonjour.
