anyone ever hear of this? i was messing around on the internet and came across it. i don't believe any claims at the moment about "natural and safe relaxers", but i was curious. they don't list their ingredients though.
i have been researching for a few months about the bonds in hair, what chemicals do to the bonds in hair, any natural alternatives, etc. i even broke out my college chemistry books to see what they say.
the disulfide bonds in hair are the strongest, and the only way i know how to break them is chemically (permanent) or with heat (temporary). i'm still on my quest to find the most gentle way to loosen disulfide bonds before i go back to chemicals. if i ever did go back to chemicals, i think i will make my own relaxer. i might as well put this chemistry degree to some use!
