Okay, I've heard over and over the wonders of conditioner washes on this board. I'm not disputing anyone's claims when it's spoken of as the answering to conquering that new growth either. But I just wanna get some advice on whether it would be fine for me to try it. Lemme explain my situation (and I apologize in advance for being dramatic about it all
). I exercise several times a week and I sweat a whole lot. I like to shampoo once a week to keep my scalp clean. Although I'm only 6 weeks into a relaxer, it feels alot more like 8 weeks. I'd love to give the conditioner wash a try but I'm concerned that it's just not going to cleanse my scalp all that much. I'm afraid it will cause some kind of nasty, greasy, salty build-up instead of really cleansing it. I'm guessing that some of you ladies probably don't exercise (not implying that you're fat or anything) as many times a week as I do so a conditioner wash for some of you would be fine since you wouldn't have the sweaty scalp that I'm prone to. Can anyone give me a suggestion on what to do? Conditioner washing for a serial exerciser: yea or nay?
