Hi, I was reading reviews about this new product on naturallycurly.com and apparently it helps to keep the shrinkage to a minimum. 1 person even reported having 0 shrinkage!!! Being the PJ that I am, I just ordered a bottle (plus they're having a promo with free stuff) today. I'll use it as soon as I get it, but I was wondering if any of u already used it and what are your results????

I received an order from NC last week. It came with a sample of Extenz. Once I try it, I will come back and write a review.

I got a sample from curlmart too. I probably won't use it until much later, so...I'm really not much help to you . I'm gonna leave now :look:

Hi ladies,
I wanted to tell you about my experience with this EXTENZ, the first day i used it I co-washed my hair squeezed out excess water, put some HE LTR in as a leave-in and a little EVOO. I detangled my hair and separated it into four parts, and took a quarter size of the EXTENZ emulsified then proceeded to rake it through all four sections. My hair at this point still hung like it does when wet however as it dried it did shrinked up as it usually does when I do a W-N-G I am 4a/3c texture. I don't know if it was product or operator error. My hair did not stay elongated and I didn't touch it until after it was 80% dry and I also didn't use a root brush, heck the Denman brush took out too much of my hair while detangling so you know that was not happening. I was disappointed but I figured I would try less leave-in and more EXTENZ. Second day I rinsed hair with water left hair dripping applied a little leave-in in hair, detangled with fingers and applied extra EXTENZ from root to tip in four sections squeezed hair and pulled product through. So I left my hair to dry and once again it shrunk back up. I will try a few more experiments for 22.00 plus s&h I want to make sure this is product and not operator error.

Damn PJism!!!!!! I hope it'll work for me 'cause 21$ is not cheap!!!!! I have their leave-in conditioner too, so i'll try using the Extenz with it to see if it makes a difference in the shrinkage when I get the Extenz and I'll report back to y'all....

so far the consensus was that it SUCKS if you have a tighter curl pattern. like it might not even work on my hair so imagine someone with a tighter curl than mine. plus my friend said it left her hair frizzy and she has perfect coils that i cant even imagine getting frizzy. AND it dried out her hair.

Beanie44, I'm afraid I got the exact same results as you. In fact, I'll go a step and further and say it managed to shrink More than it normally does. This isn't necessary a bad thing, in that it had nice definition, hold, etc. However, for my particular head of hair it did not ''extend'. But everyone's hair is different. I am also a member of naturallycurly.com and have seen curlies with lovely results and very little shrinkage.

@empressri
IA 100%. I received a sample in my last curlmart.com order. I live in Northwest Florida where it's usually humid. It is not this time of the year. It's around 35 - 39% humidity. I work the product in my hair as described in their videos and when I got home from work, it looked like I had done a 2nd BC....Yuckkk! I don't know who this product will work for. But it neither moisturizes or elongate my hair. Just the reverse!

My hair is C-napp and about 4" long. I don't have curl definition and wasn't expecting this product to give me any; but this was a disaster.

When I watched the videos on curlmart.com, I didn't see where the product elongated anyone's hair. Their hair just looked wetter to me and had some movement. Everyone's hair looked like it shrunk up.

I guess that's why curlmart.com is sending everyone samples. They're trying to spur sales for a do-nothing product.

Hmmph! Glad I didn't buy this expecting it to "extenzz" my hair! LOL!!!

Well shoot. I couldn't get the search feature to work the other night, so I ordered some without seeing these reviews.

Well if it doesn't work as advertised, perhaps it will be a good curl holder/setter for twist outs? I would hate to have it serve no good purpose at all.
