For me, the best method of all is ensuring my hair is super moisturized.

Ecostyler makes me look like I have a Jheri Curl. A hard crunchy one at that!

KCC works well BUT it seems like it takes my hair FOR.EVER to dry and I don't understand why since my hair is not dense at all.

For me, the best combo is conditioner (EO Essentials, Trader Joe's Tingle Treat and Moisture Balance, Giovanni Smooth as Silk Reconstructor, Nature's Gate Hemp and Jojoba conditioners) and sealing with Vaseline....

Terressentials Mud Wash followed up with Trader Joe's Nourish Spa condish as a leave-in then Eco Styler Argan Oil Gel. I diffuse the roots and stretch ends while drying to get max length.

For styling a staple is: Leave in conditioner, oil, and Aussie Instant Freeze Gel. Shiny curls that last for at least 3 days. And it works in any weather because the Aussie is glycerin free.

I also second the mud wash, since I've been using it regularly my curls are a lot better all around. I use cool mint.

I love that this thread is still going... I think I am finding that my technique is as important as the products.
