Curlformers ((straight look))

Does anyone use curlformers for a sleek look? Do you use the big ones and then wrap? I want to try this! Has anyone had success using curlformers for a blow out/flat ironed look?

I was just wondering this today, but after looking at lots of pics here, on youtube, and on their website, I don't see how those spiral curls can make a good rollerset for a straight look......
