Sounds like from a lot of you ladies, and a lot of these threads, is that the key to good curl definition is a good leave-in moisturizer and a good curl-enhancing gel. Would anyone else have anything different from this to add?

Water. Lots and lots of water. If I don't let my hair drip-dry for awhile (basically, until it stops dripping) before I even TOUCH it with a towel, everything else is pretty much moot.

I use Milk and Honey or Paul Mitchel The Conditioner as leave ins and either Sebastien Wet or Citre Shine wave and curl booster gel. I love the citre shine...

I just no-poo with Kenra Moisturizing conditioner while I'm in the shower. I then rinse and towel off with minimum manipulation. I then put in Aveda elixir as a leave in. About 10-15 min as I'm walking out the door, I let some CD Healthy hair butter melt on my hands and smooth it over the top of the fro for a little moisture. Then I'm OTD.

I noticed my Aveda elixir gave very great definitions in my coils, but was also drying.
