There have been mixed reviews concerning this product line, which has probably made many hesistant about purchasing them (including myself). Well, she has $1.00 hair samples of each product (1 ounce), tax free if any of you are interested in trying them. http://www.myhoneychild.com

I really like the MyHoneyChild product line, I have ordered sample sizes of some of the products and I believe that they have saved me some money. I wish the sample sizes were offered sooner because then I could have saved even more $$$. This product line is one of my favorites right now, I just can't use all of the products because they do not all work for my hair. I think that I have about 3 products that I could have saved money on. Thank God I was able to start buying the samples before I wasted any more money.

Well I didn't even try any samples I just went ahead and ordered the myhoneychild type 4 hair cream  :lick: and the myhoneychild caribbean activator:love: :lick:because I was so anxious to find another natural hair line that offered styling aids so that I could replace my AO styling aids. So far I am very impressed with her hair products and her customer service. Yesterday was my wash day and I used the activator on my wet hair and it was very moisturizing and it made my hair curl (defination) up immediately and left it soft, smelling yummy:lick: and shiny. Today, I used the hair cream as a moisturizer on my airdried hair to plait it and to my surprise the moisturizer just seeped through my hair leaving it very moisturized, soft and shiny. Her products are definately a keeper for me:yep:.

I wish she had the sample sizes up before I ordered the Type 4 or herbal hair coctail. I am not wild about either one. I like the honey hair mask though. I might look in to trying some other products like Sophia's hair grease. :)

I added some honey and carrier oils (jojoba oil, castor oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, WGO and vitamin E oil) to my type 4 hair creme to make it more moisturizing.;)

I didn't think of this. I don't think this is a bad hair cream, it's just not super and I wish it were because I have alot of it (16 oz. jar). I have been wondering if I should sell this or give it away because I didn't know what to do with it. Maybe I will try this.

Yes you should try this before you sell it or give it away. I ordered the 16.oz as well and as soon as I received it I applied some to a few strands of my hair. I know, I know Miss Gladys:lol: :lachen:and I didn't think it was super either so I decided to pep it up with the honey and carrier oils and I love it. :yep:

Cocopuff do you have texturized hair? Or is your hair relaxed or natural?

Just wanted to add..I think you can email Krika<sp> and she can make a reformulated Type 4 hair cream that has more oils or something..I think I remember someone posting in a thread about that and she liked the reformulated one better..

Thank you Rushgirl:) ,

I think I remember reading that thread too;) and that's what inspired me to add the extras and experiment but I guess the next time when I order it I will make a special request for Kirka to make a reformulated type 4 hair cream for me instead of me using my own stuff to make it more moisturizing.:ohwell:

I have the reformulated type 4 hair cream and still had to add castor oil, coconut oil and olive oil to it. I just make small batches so with each batch I add different oils. I tried shea butter last night and liked that mix.
