Does anyone do the crosswrap? Can someone please give me some instructions...I tried to do it lastnight. Once I get one side stright how in the world do I get the other side stright?

I can't remember who's album I seen it in.

basically instead of doing the normal wrap at night you would do the cross wrap. part stright down the middle...wrap one side one way and the other side the other way.

For the life of me...I just can't figure out how you get it smooth

I've cross-wrapped before and I prefer the regular way. I get more swing and bounce when I wrap the normal way.

Ohhh ok, I see now. I've done this before (it was incredibly hard). I usually get better results with the regular wrap. I don't have any tips on how to help you though, sorry.

I just did a crosswrap last night, but I don't have pics in my album though. Can you explain what area it's not smooth in? I use duckbills to hold mine in place until I put the scarf on, then I pull them out. Are you using a scarf or a bonnet? I also noticed that my hair has to be combed out and detangled before I crosswrap. I usually do this with my fingers, but if my fingers don't work, I'll use my Jilbere de Paris shower comb.

In Oprah's hairdresser book Andrew Talks Hair he talks about cross wrapping, but I haven't tried it.

This is exactly how I do mine down to the comb, lol. I can't wrap the normal way to save my life so when I do wrap I always cross wrap. I've never had a problem with hair not laying right.
