Crochet Braid Questions

Hello ladies,

I am considering my very first weave! I decided on crochet braids as I feel I would have better access to my scalp and just consider it a healthier alternative to sewing or glueing.

Now here is my question....how do I braid my WL hair length under it? LOL I keep searching Youtube for long hair crochet braids but all I get are videos of long hair extentions and most of the videos I see are of ladies with SL hair or shorter. I need to see an example of how to braid my hair so I dont look like an egghead. LOL Visuals pls.

I'm between SL and APL. One braider I used kind of braided the ends of my braids together to secure them like this (not my pic):

The last person I went to bundled the braids and then wrapped weave thread around the braids to secure them. Sorry, no pics.

Maybe I should just have it done professionally the first time then I can just repeat what they do in the future....
