Creative short natural styles?

Hey, Ladies! I BC's after a 6 month transition this weekend and I LOVE IT! I flat ironed my hair yesterday(which is easier now, I might add) to get a length check, but I think I'm ready to rock my FRO. So, all of my ladies with/ who have had TWA's, what are some creative styles that I can rock besides extensions and the basic TWA? I was thinking about some lil twisties...

Also, what's the best way to maintain my TWA? Should I just wash it everyday to bring it back to life? I left it out and it shrank (yes, I played with my little curlies all day) so it was a little tangly the next day. Since this pic, I've trimmed it a little more to get what I hope is the rest of the relaxed ends off, so any ideas?

Just wanted to say congrats on your bc!:clapping: I don't have any styles for you, I am still trying to learn what to do with mine. I chopped back in Dec and I have just been wearing my twa and loving it. Good Luck to you!

Congrats! You hair looks great.

My favorite style to do on my TWA were mini twists and have the sides or back pinned. As far as maintenance, you can co wash or spritz everyday to revive. Another way is to band your hair or put in big twists or braids to stretch, if you dont want it shrink.

Congrats!!! Try flat twists and twists! I just did this set Friday. Once you get the hang of it is easy to do :)

Your hair looks super cute. I have no styles but I'm in a similar position so I'd like to get some ideas.

Thanks, you guys! Ms GG and E. Princess, your twist are beautiful! I don't think my hair is as thick as Ms GG's. I'm going to have learn how to flat twist like that. Faith VA~ I like your pics too, especially the last one, I might have to rock that!

Thanks!!

Thanks PinkishlyNoire. I wasn't much help in answering your question - I'm still figuring it out. I only post the presentable pics (smile). I don't think my hair will be ready for the pic screen for another 3 to 6 months. We will see.

Keep enjoying your hair.
