Cream/Pomade for sleek edges?

Use to use hicks edges but discovered Design Essentials Edge Control. Keeps it soft and does not have drying effect later as hicks did on my edges.

I love the Curls paste, but I didn't know if it counts as a pomade. I don't have the jar nearby.

That hicks stuff was a huge disappointment. I use the hair growth pomade from an etsy seller but I think I'll try the CD honey stuff.

I use ORS edge control. I used it most recently to do this style for Valentine's Day along with a bristle brush.

Nothing works on my edges. But years ago the stylist used to hot comb my edges (scaring me to death to just remember it and no I don't do this, I do nothing for my edges) then she would put some type of sculpting wax on there and use a toothbrush to smooth them and those babies would lay down and go to SLEEP!

Tis all.

for me, the key to using hicks edges was to lightly dampen my edges with water then add the hicks. it smooths my edges instead of definining the curls/new growth
