Hi guys! I just have a really quick question. This thread is kind of a spin off of the http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forum6/thread498630.html thread.
sheba1 mentioned that Cowboy Detangler and Shine was a good alternative to Sabino at a better price, and so I went online to check it out. I was attempting to find the best price when I came across an ingredient list that did not match the site sheba1 posted a link to. The ingredients on that site read:
Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Silk, Ethylhexy Methoxycinnamate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Fragrance.
I got no problem with these ingredients. In fact, that hydrolyzed silk sounds pretty good to me!
The ingredients I found on other various sites were:
cyclomethicone, dimethiconol, C 12-15 alkyl benzoate, octyl methoxycinnamete, tocopheryl acetate, panthenol, silk amino acids, methyl-paraben, proplyparaben, and fragrance.
I don't like these ingredients quite as much. I could be wrong, but the silk amino acids sound like a watered down version of the hydrolyzed silk AND they're further down in the ingredients!
Is anyone still using this product? If you are, have you noticed any adverse affects from these new ingredients?
I'm just asking because I'd really like to try this product but I just don't know if I'm feeling those new ingredients.
TIA!!
