Very pretty Country Gal! My texture looks similar to yours. I can't wait to try some of those styles in a few months. :) BTW, How long did you transition?

Nice hair!!! It looks sooo soft and touchable and very moisturized. Plus, it seems so easy to detangle. I think you have a freshly washed picture your hair in your album and I don't see a knot or a tangle. This has been my biggest battle since becoming all natural. I'm sure all of the ladies are interested in your routine.

You and your hair are so beautiful!! I love your style. I definitely want to try the tiny two strand twists but I need to find someone who can do that for me!

Thanks Pattycake and all the other ladies. My hair only gets tangled up when I take out my twists. I do them so small that I miss some of them. It gets tangled when I am going to fast with untwisting them. The wash and go normally is not tangled.

Thanks, Bmore. My last perm was January 2004. I have been transitioning since Feb 2004.

Did you ever chop the relaxed ends? I've been in weaves since December and I'm now in braids. I'm thinking about chopping soon.

Thanks Pooh and all the ladies. Bmore- I wore weaves and braids too. I eventually had the stylist trim a lot of the relaxed ends off and wore twists until my hair was completely natural. It would of been easier doing a big chop versus dealing with two different types of hair.

Okay thanks. Can you recommend a natural stylist in this area? I think I'm goin to chop when I take these braids out. I can't take it anymore. And Just weave or braid until it grows out some more. I mean no one ever sees my hair anyway so it wouldn't really matter if I cut it now or later.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL hair!!!!! Just added you to my friends list ;)

Cool.

Bmore- I went to a natural stylist who lived in Hyattsville, Maryland. I got to dig up her number. She said she has a lot of clients on Nappurality.

yes you growth is amazing. let us know your next update.

Thanks. I will probably do a fall update. I want to wait until Thanksgiving or Christmas to straighten my hair. I want to do one of Southern Gal's sexy hand band shots when I flat iron my hair. I am afraid I may damage my hair with the heat. Any suggestions.
