Has anyone used this steamer before?

It looks nice and easy to store but does it work as good as some of the other hair steamers out there?

I'll just quote my reply from the other thread.

The intensity of the steam is just not the same. I bought the table top initially, but because I have always had steam treatments since a teen using the salon steamers, I knew that the portable one just didn't really compare so I replaced it immediately.

You will still get an okay treatment using the table top steamers, but the stand up steamers are far superior.

I bought this particular steamer and it wasn't particularly stable, and it was quite annoying to put together.

I have one. But let me tell you that putting it together is a bit tricky, and every time you have to adjust the dome because it's like puzzle pieces. I got so frustrated with it I order a real on off of ebay. It's great as a facial steamer but too much frustration. And a real one has a little bottle for the water to drip into but with that one you will get hot water on your back. And then you need to find a place where you can put it so that it has a good height.

i agree with the last two ladies. as i posted in a thread yesterday, i have that steamer and can't use it because one of the puzzle piece parts that make up the dome was broken when i moved. everytime i used it, i had to piece it together because they would frequently pop apart. it's not a serious problem(as long as u dont lose or break a piece), just that it's frustrating. so i'm also saving up to by an upright full standing steamer. there is one that has a homogenous bonnet out there someone but i dont know the vendor who sells it.

Thanks guys. I will save some money so I can buy a good one. Soes anyone have any good models they would suggest?
