Could you forgive and befriend someone who

As a Christian, you can try to forgive, but you don't have to befriend the person again. Sometimes, it's best to love certain people from a distance.

ITA! I've tried to do this so many times that I've lost count. Without trust, you have nada.

Yes, it would be hard, but yes. Sometimes you can forgive and not befriend the person, but sometimes you do. And going back to being friends, especially if you were close and someone betrayed you, is a long hard road.

I agree. I think it depends on the situation. At some point, most people we love and are close to will say or do something that hurts us. If we don't forgive, then we stay stuck. My father says that a person can't hurt you, unless they are really close to you (because otherwise it wouldn't matter what they said or did to you).

Yes you can. One of my friends just did something janky yesterday, I let her know that I thought it was tacky told everybody around us what she did and kept the line movin. To be honest I was still a little pissed this morning I wrote my friend and let her know how the other friend stabbed me in the back to make me look bad to her, she forgave me and this left room for me to forgive the other friend.
