Cost Of Sew Ins

I guess it depends on whose doing it and if you get a full-head or partial. For a full-head I've paid between $100-$350.

It depends...I used to weave my hair when I was in my early 20's about 10 years ago. For a partial weave it cost me around $100 not including hair. Remember hair can be very expensive, depending on the texture. Total you might spend close to $200.00.

They start at $100-120 at an African Braid shop. But they do not cut and style and you must come with your hair already washed and blowdried. If you go to a regular salon, it will start at maybe $150-$170 and then go up depending on what you get (partial vs. full head and so on). I pay my stylist $250. He charges new clients $300. Have you thought about doing it yourself? I did that in college to save money. I can't anymore though. Not the braiding part anyway.

If you can find someone who works out of their home then you may be able to get an install for $50, I know plenty of ladies in ATL who do it for that price. But a weave can definitely be as much as $300 - I really don't know why there is such a big difference in prices. The price does not necessarily guarantee the work.

I would recommend that you check out the weave forum at BHM and find out where the ladies in you area suggest you go for the best install. I wouldn't get an install without some recommendations from people who understand healthy hair care because weaves can mess u up if they are not done properly.
