Cornrow Styles - Pics Please!

So I have an appt tomorrow to have my hair re-braided. It was supposed to be a touchup for the individuals that I got in September, but my SO was so fed-up after three months that I them out last month.

He's told me that the only braid style he really likes is Corn rows, but I've never gotten them. Since I have the appt already I thought maybe I'd try them but I need some inspiration or recommendations for styles.


Also - would you typically use human or synthetic hair for this?
