Ill post pics later.. too worried right now.
I self relaxed four wks ago and its def underprocessed, but I didn't think it was that bad. However it has been quite dry and fragile and I haven't been babying it the way I should *smacks hand*
I got a tattoo on the back of my head (above the neck .. I shaved a little in the back)
So... today and last night I noticed I'd pulled out (not combed out) a good chunk of hair... :0
But it doesn't appear to be coming from the scalp bc I see/feel no bald spots. Help, pls.
I am going to start taking garlic supplements and I piled joico intense hydrator on my hair this morning after washing it w neutralizing poo.. I'm leaving the deep condish in until I get out of work.
I need feedback so I don't lose my mind. Thanks, ladies <3

I wish I had some words of wisdom. I'm so sorry this is happenening to you. I recently lost a chunk of hair in the front and it was not a good feeling.

Maybe it wasnt neutralized completely?

Does ACV help with that?

It's been so long since I had a relaxer and I never did one on my own. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Are there any white bulbs at the end?

I think if you haven't babied your hair in a while and that it has been dry and fragile, it could be breakage (especially if you have a lot of shorter hairs). I say definitely do the DC treatment which can possibly help turn this around if it's breakage to give your hair more strength.

I left the joico DC on until I came home from work. Bought the alter ego garlic DC (left it in for a while without heat) and lavender jbco. Hair feels soooo much better

Good! I hope it's stopped shedding. I did try to Google a link between head tattoos and hair loss but the only thing I found had to do with infection (an infection could lead to hair loss). That's pretty standard for a head infection though, tattoo or no tattoo.
