Hi There--I owe my skin to the Mary Kay Miracle Set. That's what I use with the exception of the Day Solution b/c it has alot of sunscreen in it to which I'm allergic. I also use the MK Blemish Control Toner when I get those "special" breakouts each month. Also, the vitamins I take give my skin (all over my body) a nice healthy glow and softness.

Congrats, girl! You are such an inspiration to us all. You have ways of helping me keep my head up, when I'm ready to throw in the towel. Especially when I'm temped by those scissor happy stylists.

Nice avatar! And I REALLY LOVE and believe in your tip about scissor happy stylists!! I have personally experienced one myself... after her comments about how looonnngggggg and pretty my hair was, what was SUPPOSED to be a "TRIM" turned out to be 2 1/2 inches!! I had to tell her "That's enough!" My hair was not even damaged! It was as though she just didn't want me to have such long hair... I was practically in tears when I realized what she had done, even though I have always stressed that I only want a trim (the very FEW times I let someone other than my Mom or myself trim it). No wonder I was always nervous about stylists putting scissors to my hair! I will NEVER let that happen again! What a wonderful "platform" you have, Supergirl, and I will never get tired of hearing it!!

--Aikaa, regarding the shine--that pic was after a fresh re-touch at the salon. She roller set my hair on large rollers and then wrapped it when dry. I think the setting lotion and the roller setting process gives it that shine and I think that look can be achieved when you rollerset your hair with any setting lotion. My favorite for home is the Pantene wrap and set lotion. I also use some of the Smooth Intense Serum for my at-home rollersets.

Supergirl, you are da bomb! Your hair, skin...stunning! I've got Mary Kay Miracle Set added to my wish list. As well as the products mentioned in your interview. Even though you think your hair may be 3C/4A, I will focus on the 4A part and keep the thrill I had when I thought it was exactly the same type as mine.
