I've been trying to write a post here for a little while now but I don't even know what to say! GoingNatural, you are very sweet for starting this thread and thank you for visiting my fotki and keeping up with my progress. I'll be keeping up with yours too. I know you will reach your goals faster than you can imagine!

Thank you so much to everyone for all the kind posts and also for going to see my pics.

I feel so grateful that I've been able to retain the growth I've achieved over these past two years. Protective styling and gentle hair care have done a lot for me. I don't think my hair grows faster than the average. I've just been really lucky to retain it.

Again thank you so much for the really nice posts!

Thanks for your opinion. And if I hadn't had previous online encounters with Cichelle I wouldn't have done that. I know she presents herself as a VERY humble person and she has never made note of her hair accomplishments--a bit of a hair anorexic.

It looks as though you are way past waistlength if it was straightened. It's beautiful. This is so inspiring.
