Cone overload !!!!!!!

I just had the worst experience in tangled hair in my life. I tried the new HE Hydralicious conditioner. I thought with the cones high up on the ingredients list I would get lots of slip.........WRONG!!! I got a tangled mess. Then I thought, well my Silicon Mix always gets the tangles out... more cones :wallbash:. I just couldn't win. I had to shampoo that crap out and still nothing but tangles. Finally I did an ACV rinse and at least my hair was softer again but not tangle free, still sort of coated feeling. I had to detangle it section by section and blowdry it to get my hair back to some normalcy. BTW I only use heat once every 3 or 4 months so I was really ticked. It still feels weird but I am afraid to shampoo. Any suggestions to get rid of cones without using a stripping shampoo? Help.

maybe it was just the hydralicious that did it. Cuz it sure as heck did it to my hair and i never get tangles from an he conditioner

I don't know from experience or anything, but I'm thinking a good Hot Oil Treatment followed by a diluted clarifying 'poo should break down the 'cones without drying out you hair. HTH

I think that Hydralicious is gonna get the ole 'heave ho'.And I rarely toss anything away. :nono: My hair is better off without it.

I tired the baking soda. First I did a few rinses with the baking soda and warm water then I conditioned and did it again instead of adding it to the conditioner. It feels more normal now. I read a thread about the Chegrin Valley Soap Bars and ordered a few of those to try.I hope they work better than the shampoo.
