Conditioners = Shine???

Do you all really believe that some conditioners give more shine to the hair than others??

Some conditioners claim to be "shine-enhancing" but I think that in order to know whether that is true, you would have to dry your hair w/o putting in any other oils or hairdress or anything, right??

I guess this is mainly geared for White women, who don't use anything in their hair after conditioning. With all the stuff I use in my hair after conditioning, I would have no idea which product was responsible for the extra shine!!

I think maybe that shine comes from either silicone additives or a lower pH (to make the cuticle lay down).

However, so many other things contribute to whether your hair is shiny, thats why there are all those other products (which might be causing the 'lack' of shine from product buildup).

Since I've started using leave-ins less, I've noticed more shine when my hair dries. You would not believe the BLING I got from Miss Key Diez Y Uno
