conditioner wash

Ladies I did a co wash for the first time last night. I detangled in the shower but once I was out it wasn't as easy to detangle.

I sprayed a leave in conditioner and let it air dried with a gob of grease on my ends.

With the co wash do you apply the conditioner to dry hair then rinse or vise versus?

I'm OOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTT!

I think yOu shOuld of rinsed yOur hair b4 applying the cOnditiOner and I wash my hair in the shOwer tO prevent my hair frOm tangling...
