Hello Ladies,
My Cousin just got out of prison a week ago on Wednesday and I'm concerned about the possibilty of him going back. I don't know where to start or look, but I think it would be ESSENTIAL for him to get some counseling. I think he is resentful towards people who he had issues with b4 he went in and now that he is out those feeling have festered and he is on edge. He was in a maximum security prison and he is still trying to escape, having to be on that mentality for the last 8 year's. IS there some kind of program that is Nation wide that maybe they have in diffrent states that you ladies know of or know someone who has had experience with that maybe he can get some sort of counseling. He told my sister he dosen't think he is going to make it out here. - He told her that he justhas so much Anger and frustration that he think's he could harm someone.
So our family had a family day for him this past Saturday and the whole day was very chill and relax and Our Uncle came to the house and start getting my cousin wound up, My uncle started rough housing with him and you could tell my cousin was uncomfortable but it continued. Well they get outside and and they posed for a picture and our uncle pinches his butt and my cousin snapped. Now bear in mind this butt pinching was something my uncle used to do to us when we were kid's as a way to annoy or Joke around with us. No one was hurt but my cousin was cursing and really ready to fight our uncle. My uncle was shocked and walked to his car and drove off. Bear in mind also this uncle, I'm sure my cousin has some resentment about there realtionship with one another. The whole family was there- My Grandparent's have 4 kid's and the 4 kid's family was there. My uncle in my story is my grandparent's child. My cousin in this story is My grandparent's DD 's son.
So....Yeah...Any suggestions....Word's of wisdom. I'm sad to hear him say he is not going to make it out here, that he is just so stuck in the prison mentality that he dosen't know if he can do it. So I feel like maybe if he has some sort of counseling then maybe he can maybe have a better understanding on certain thing's.
After this situation family members re done with m cousin they are just ready to give up on him because of how he responded but no one understand what he possibly could of went thru while there. I 'm not justifiying action's but I think they need to understand where he is coming from.
