Conair Ceramic curling iron

I was at CVS the other night and I saw the Conair Ceramic curling iron for 19 bucks. I think it was the 1 1/2 inch which I need for big curls. Does anyone know if this ceramic curling iron is any good?

Yep, I have that exact iron. It's pretty good for being under $20.

What type hair do you have? I have 4a hair and am concerned it wont work on my hair.

I think I am a combination 3. 3 b/c is my best guess according to Andre's system. I think the curling iron would work just fine on any type hair though. There are various heat settings. I can't check now...but I know I use a 9 but I think it goes up to 15 or 20.
