Yes that right, did my first magnetic rollerset yesterday/this morning! Made a couple of error along the way like making up my mind to definitely rollerset my hair at 8 o'clock at night when most of the BBS were closed. I had bought an assorted pack from walmart a while back of sets of nine. I just had to improvice(sp), and that is exactly what i did. I used NTM leave in and Fantasia frizz buster serum, after shampooing and dcing. Sorry, i'm not sure how long it took me to rollerset cause i wasn't keeping track of time. Time wise i spent an hour under the soft bonnet dryer, and i still wasn't dry so i slept in them! Yeah, that's right:blush:! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!! I had fun!! Finally got my feet wet and it feels good!! Wasn't perfect but practice will hopefully make perfect! This morning when i took my mohawk section down all the curls except the front two were verrryy BLAH! Guess they were probably not dry, huh? My curls are sooo supple and luscious it's not even funny! I have body and movement! Please excuse the excitement because this is my first magnetic rollerset EVERY! I don't even think my pics do me justice. I didn't feel like making my hair straight so i didn't bother with the saran wrap treatment. I LOVE CURLS!! I didn't even bother to finger comb except the first two in the mowak. Thank you soo much Macherie, i couldn't have done it withcha! That's a fact because i am better with visuals instead of words:ohwell:.

Congratulations, Wheezy! I can hardly wait to get her DVD as well, because I know I need some help! Can't imagine the neck pain from sleeping on rollers, though...:ohwell:

I'll tell ya feels my hair is sooo soft, feels like i have feathers on my head! The bouncy curls with every slight movement! I am so proud of my self!!

mohawk section was kinda zigzag but.....

i'm surely trying, that's for sure!

Girl that looks really good for your very first set! I never even did the mohawk section before reading how macherieamour does her.Congratulations on a job well done.

I know this is probably a no no but when I feel that a roller section isnt quite dry I use my handheld dryer on medium and concentrate on that section. I try not to go to close tho.....

Can't cha tell h0w much fun i had? If my curls are up to part late i'll get one of my members to take more pics so i can put them in my fotki.

next time i'm gonna get that mohawk to act right! I think i did more rolling than pulling, but...

Good Lord women, you slept in rollers! Now that is dedication!!! :lachen:Im glad the dvd helped:)

I was just pure lazy! Can't lye. I even though about falling asleep down stairs with the soft bonnet on. But then, i was like," I'de rather sleep in my own bed w da rollers!":lachen:

It was more of a head pain! I could feel the clips with every toss and turn. I think that's why i'm woke up so early. I wasn't shy, i got into my sleep (atleast tried too)!

Great first effort Wheezy! :)

That's a luscious curl, LOL!
Congratulations! Your rollerset looks good for your first time and pretty too! It gets better and easier the more you do it.

BTW, I always sleep in my magnetic rollers. I've learned to place rollers a little differently on the side I usually sleep on so I'm always totally comfortable. :)

I do this when I get my hair wet in the shower. Do this BEFORE you take the rollers out though.

Also, I sleep on my magnetic rollers every night--you get used to them.

OH NOOOO!!!! Nothing i could get use to, DEFINITELY won't be doing that again!!!!!!!

Thank you, Isis! I don't know how you ladies do it!

Thank you ladies for all your nice comments! I too thought i did a good job, except for that (mohawk)area. Now for some reason i wanna find someone to try it on!? If i did a good job on my head, maybe i can do a fantastic job on their head?

Macherie, is rollersetting for relaxed hair only? I have 4a 3c natural hair.
Just curioius.

Of course not! She has not left NOBODY out! She even mentions using mesh rollers as an option for natural hair to get the hair straighter/smoother.
