you can find glycerin at most drugstores....Rite Aid....Walgreens....

Are you having trouble locating it.

My rule of thumb when trying to decide whether to do something you can't reverse that you aren't sure about is: don't.

You can always do it later - you know? But if you do it now and you aren't sure you can't reverse it.

Just a thought.

I think I'm going to go ahead and get my hair permed tonight. If it comes out underprocessed, then I'll know for sure that I'll simply be better off going natural. I am going to ask the stylist lots of questions, you better believe it.

Hi Karonica,

I'm also sitting the fence as to whether I want to touchup again. Actually, I KNOW that Affirm mild lye weakens my (fine 4b) hair too much, but Curlex doesn't straighten it enough. It's a trade off between strength and manageablility. I'm 7 weeks post relaxer with breakage already where the textures meet. (Trouble always starts at week 6.)

I'm going to continue sitting the fence, but I'm going to a Dominican salon today for a $20 wash, deep condition and rollerset. If they blow out the roots/new growth, conditioner washes in the shower might be possible again. I think several women on the board transitioned with the help of Dominican rollersets and blowouts. Would you consider it?

I normally used to perm at every 6 weeks and I'm now 14 and a half weeks post relaxer, so you know I am having major problems.
