Cold Wave Perm

Now I searched the archives from information and found nothing. Does anyone know the proper steps for applying a cold wave? Since moisture is the key to healthy hair I thought this would be a good way to go for my sister. But with my big mouth, she asked me to do it when she visits next wednesday. I know there are directions on the rearranger but I wanted to see if anyone has ever had their hair done at home.

It's like the Care free Curl. As a matter of fact it is the Curl Free curl. I know the products that I have to buy but I wanted to be sure

Is she natural or relaxed?

Mostly natural. She had a perm back in April and decided not to perm her hair anymore. Then I brought up the subject of getting a curl. I know that she's going to have to cut off the perm hair since that won't take to a curl but she's cool with that since it's not much that's still permed.
