Coconut Oil

Where do you guys purchase your coconut oil, or any rare oils in general?

I got mine at the health food store. The first time I bought a 7oz jar for around $6-7 from the oil section. The next time I got wise and got a 14oz jar in the cooking oil section on sale for-what?----$6-7!

Yea thats what Im looking for...My mom purchased some from a health food store as well(cooking oil) but she doesnt live near me and Im trying to purchase now without the wait, or much of a wait anyway. I will scout my local health food stores today then and see....

My best friend found some at Walmart, it was the Louana brand near the other cooking oils. Hopefully I can find the same.

This actually might be more of what Im looking for. Im checking the site out now. I may browse Walmart too just to see if they have some to keep in stock. Thanks ladies!!

I buy mine from the Indian Grocer. It is Parachute brand, edible and comes in a royal blue container in large sizes too. It has a nice smell and consistency. When on vacation in the midwest, I got LouAna brand from Walmart (food section) and it works as well. I have tried spectrum naturals brand in the past when I was natural and my hair didn't like it. The parachute brand and the LouAna brand are really easy to apply and mix into other things. HTH

I get mine from Walmart for $2 something (cooking oil section). The thing will last for at least a couple of years. I mixed it with EVOO to seal my ends when rollersetting.

I got mine from my local BSS. Check one by you. You might get it and not have to worry about paying shipping if you order from online.

I was trying to do some checking at lunch but I got lazy.....will check after work tho for sure. Seems like I will be scouring the BSS and Walmart for sure. I also wanna try the one Sareca has too...I want that yummy coconut smell!!! Do any of the others have that smell? I know the one my mom got from the health food store didn't..,,

The one i'm sending you doesn't have the yummy smell But it works wonders for me
