I like how they have white women in the mix as well. They too seem to suffer from the kinky and curly ain't right, only straight hair is acceptable(I mean mainstream acceptance of it for white women). I was watching Millionaire matchmaker and everytime a woman with red or curly hair is interviewed as a potential match, 99% of the time she requests that the person straighten their hair, no matter the color of the woman. So it is refreshing to see celebrities from different backgrounds deciding for themselves how their hair should be presented. I wonder if AA women embracing their natural hair and the mainstream acceptance of it has an impact on others willing to embrace their natural texture.

I was in Target on Saturday and I saw a few White women picking up products from the natural hair care aisle. They all had curly hair.
