Clip In Weave and Braids

Hello Ladies, (and Gents)

I'm looking for some new hair styles this summer and I was wondering if I buy clips in's but I braid my hair like I'm getting a sew in would it work the same? Because I hate sitting and getting my hair sewn in, it just takes too long for me. Please Ladies Can Someone please help me out. Thanks in advance.

This one looks promising but she is using her hair as a leave out. I might try this method. She braids her hair in one big under braid. She calls it a flat braid.
