So I recently bought two bottles of V05 clarifying conditioner..but i'm not sure how to use it. I don't have a clarifying shampoo and I don't know if I need one. Do I wash it first with my regular shampoo then DC then clarify? Or do I wash it with my shampoo and then clarify and don't DC? I'm soo confused. :nono:

I have never used a clarifying conditioner...but I would probably cowash with it, use my shikakai shampoo bar and then DC.

I have Avalon Lemon Clarifying Conditioner. I Co-Washed with it.

And Finished Up with a Moisturizing DC with Heat.

Hey there!

This is what I do:
Clarify with my Redken cleansing cream
Follow up with moisturising poo (Elasta qp)
DC
Detangle with running water

Thats it! Hope that helps!

ETA: I use this once every 3 weeks maybe or when my hair feels really gunky!

Well, if the shampoo you're using has sulfates, it's gonna probably be more "clarifying" than the conditioner. I would DC then use the clarifying condish as a co-wash.

I only use it when I've been conditioning a lot and not using shampoo for a few weeks. I use it to gently get rid of some of the build up when I don't want to use shampoo.
